Who we are
The Doing Co. is a creative studio working with ambitious businesses, wherever they are based. For the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), The Doing Co. is the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.

What we collect
When you send us an enquiry through our contact form, we receive the details you provide:
- your name and business name;
- your email address;
- your website or Instagram handle, if you share it;
- the service you're interested in and your ideal start date, if given;
- your project description and anything else you write in the message.
Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure also processes standard technical information needed to deliver the site to your browser, such as your IP address and browser type. We do not use this information to identify or profile you.
Why we use it
We use your enquiry details only to:
- respond to your enquiry and discuss a potential project with you;
- take steps before entering into a contract, and deliver our services if we work together.
Under the GDPR, we rely on our legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)) to handle general business enquiries, and on steps prior to entering a contract or contractual performance (Article 6(1)(b)) where an enquiry leads to work together. We do not add you to a mailing list or use your details for marketing.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a client relationship are generally kept for up to 12 months after our last communication, unless a longer period is reasonably necessary for a legitimate purpose or a legal obligation. Client, financial and accounting records may be kept longer, in line with applicable Dutch legal requirements.
Who we share it with
We never sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run this website and our email:
- Titan Email — our business email provider, which stores and delivers the emails we receive and send, including your enquiry.
- Lovable — hosts this website and processes contact form submissions so they can be delivered to us by email.
Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where they do, appropriate safeguards under the GDPR apply, such as standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, and in some cases to restrict or object to how we use it or to receive a portable copy of it. To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@thedoingco.studio.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
Cookies and analytics
This website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and does not set any non-essential cookies. Because of that, no cookie consent banner is required. If we add analytics or other non-essential cookies in the future, we will ask for your consent first and update this policy.
